Weekly Weather |
Step into a little slice of France right in the heart of Puerto Morelos.
Belleville is the town's only authentic French bakery, where the aroma of fresh-baked croissants and baguettes fills the air from morning until afternoon.
Run by a French chef who brought his expertise from France to this Caribbean paradise, this cozy spot serves up buttery pastries, hearty breakfast dishes, and some of the strongest coffee in town.
Whether you're craving a flaky almond croissant or their famous chilaquiles verdes, Belleville delivers that perfect mix of French technique and Mexican heart.
Specialties: French pastries, breakfast dishes, strong coffee
Don't miss the almond croissants (go early before they sell out), pain au chocolat, eggs Benedict, and their signature chilaquiles verdes.
What People Are Saying:
"Amazing bread and croissant are as good as in France. The staff is super friendly, and the place is just great." ~ Greg T., Google
"French Toast was superb - some of the best we've ever had and easily enough for two generous portions. Fantastic sandwiches and amazing pastries." ~ Mike B., Google
"Excellent breakfast just how I like it: cappuccino and fresh croissant!" ~ Sissi, Google
"If I lived in Puerto Morelos I would stop here every morning. Went to get a croissant because I heard they were excellent. They are!" ~ Chris H., TripAdvisor
Hours: Tuesday–Sunday, 8:00 AM–2:00 PM (Closed Mondays)
👉 Insider Tip: If you see anything labeled as a “special del día” (often a seasonal tart, fruit galette, or an experimental pastry), grab it immediately. Locals know the French baker puts out very small batches... sometimes as few as 6–8 pieces, and he doesn’t remake them later. These are the items the regulars go for first.

Insider Tip: Colectivos |
Master the Colectivo system if you want the most affordable way to get around town. You can take the local route that connects the beachside with La Colonia for only 10 pesos.
And you can also travel to Cancun or Playa del Carmen by using the “colectivos” (shared minivans). To get to other towns, you can catch them on the west side of Highway 307. |

Adoptable Furry Friend |
🐾 Hi, I’m Pamela!
I’m a one year-old girl, medium-to-small in size — the perfect fit for cuddles, couches, and adventures.
I was rescued from an apartment with my mom and my siblings, and ever since then I’ve been waiting for my new forever friend to come get me.
I’m active like any fun young pup, but I’m also muy noble… which means I’m gentle, loving, and easy to be around.
I’ve been at the shelter for months, watching other dogs go home. I’m happy for them... but I’m hoping my turn is coming soon.
I love walks, playing, exploring, and giving (and getting!) lots of affection. I’m cheerful, healthy, spayed, vaccinated, and so ready to start my real life.
Wanna meet me? I'm in Cancún. Send a message to my friends at Adopta un Amigo and tell them Pamela sent you!
