Get your appetite ready—this year marks the 4th annual Puerto Morelos Caribbean Grill Festival, delivering two full days of smoky flavours, sizzling grills and live entertainment.
Expect over 30+ food-stands serving grilled meats, chicken, seafood and veggie fare; chefs travelling from far and wide—including from Spain—join the line-up to bring international flair.

This unique event honors loved ones who have passed, blending ancient Mayan and Catholic traditions. It brings the community together and supports local businesses.
The highlight is a boat parade where vessels are decorated with colorful Day of the Dead themes. Boat owners can enter a contest, but decorations must be marine-friendly and plastic-free.
Other contests include hotels making giant Catrinas, artists creating smaller Catrinas and Alebrijes, and businesses decorating their storefronts.
These entries are judged on creativity and sustainable materials. Registration deadlines for these vary, mostly in late October.
