Mexico is putting its ancient history right in your pocket.
History You Can Carry
The new 10-peso coin features Tonatiuh, the Aztec sun god. This iconic image comes from the Sun Stone, which is one of the most famous archaeological treasures in the world.
The 20-peso coin shows the Temple of Kukulkán from Chichén Itzá. This coin has a unique 12-sided shape and special tiny text to help prevent people from making fakes.
Both coins will still show the national eagle on the front. They use a new mix of metals to stay high-quality while keeping production costs low for the government.
More Changes on the Way
If you have old coins, do not worry. You can still use your current money at stores while the new designs slowly enter circulation.
Even more updates are planned for 2025 through 2030. The Mexican Mint will eventually release new 1, 2, and 5-peso coins made of bronze-coated steel.
These coins are great for tourists and locals alike. They serve as tiny, hand-held reminders of the Maya and Aztec cultures that shaped the region. Read More... |
Adoptable Furry Friend |
Hi future family 🐾
My name is Simba, and I am a one year old Lab mix with a big heart and an even bigger smile. I am a large, happy boy who was rescued by a very kind girl. She loves me very much, but sadly she is not allowed to have pets where she lives.
Let me tell you a little about me. I am super loving, cheerful, and full of life. I wake up ready to play, cuddle, and make you laugh.
I am obedient and I really enjoy being active, so if you like walks, adventures, or playtime, I am your guy. I would be the perfect companion because I am always happy to be by your side.
I am very affectionate and I love giving kisses. I will need some continued training at home since I am still young and learning, but I am smart and eager to please. With a little patience and guidance, I will grow into the most amazing best friend.
I am hoping for a young, dynamic couple or an active family who will include me in their life and love me forever. I do not just want a house, I want a real home where I am part of the family.
If you think we could be perfect together, please send a message via inbox or WhatsApp at +52 998 8452306
I am waiting to meet you. Love, |
