Cancun Christmas Fair Returns: A Festive Day Trip from Puerto Morelos

Get ready, Puerto Morelos families, because a beloved holiday tradition is making its grand return just a short drive away.

 

The Cancun Christmas Fair is coming back this December, promising a month of festive fun for everyone. It’s the perfect excuse for a day trip to our bustling neighbor.

 

Your Holiday Destination

 

The fair opens December 13, 2025, and runs through January 11, 2026. This means plenty of time to plan a visit during the school holidays or a festive weekend. 

 

You'll find it at its usual spot, on Avenida Kabah with Xcaret, a well-known intersection in Cancun.

 

"Espectaculares García" is bringing back all the magic we've come to expect. Think thrilling mechanical rides, dazzling lights, and lively shows. It’s the kind of place that truly fills the air with that special Christmas spirit.

 

Fun for All Ages

 

This fair is a real treat for families. You can expect a wide variety of attractions, from classic carnival games to exciting rides for the adventurous. There will also be plenty of food stalls offering typical Mexican snacks and traditional sweets.

 

Little ones will be especially delighted. Special surprises are planned, including visits from Santa Claus himself. Thematic parades will also wind through the fairgrounds, bringing music, color, and cheer.

 

You can also expect the usual fair setup on prices and hours. Entry to the grounds is typically free, and you pay per ride or game.

 

In past years there have been nightly promos like the popular “Pulsera Mágica” for unlimited rides on some days, and 2×1 deals midweek.

 

The fair usually runs in the evenings, roughly from 6:00 pm until around 11:30 pm or midnight, which makes it an easy outing after school or work.

 

Making the Trip from Puerto Morelos

 

For us in Puerto Morelos, Cancun is an easy and quick drive up Highway 307. It’s close enough for an afternoon or evening outing without too much travel time. You can take a taxi, a colectivo, or drive your own car.

 

If you do drive to the fair, park carefully around Kabah/Xcaret and near the Fiscalía to avoid tickets.
