Get Ready for Puerto Morelos' Fifth Caribbean Grill Festival

The smoky aroma of barbecue will soon fill the air in Puerto Morelos.

The fifth Festival Parrillero del Caribe will take place October 24 and 25, 2026, at Ventana al Mar and Parque Fundadores.

This year, organizers expect about 4,000 visitors.

The festival will bring together 22 grill specialists from Puerto Morelos, elsewhere in Quintana Roo, Mexico City, Nuevo León, Querétaro, Jalisco, and Spain.

What to Expect

Attendees can look forward to grilled meats, fish, and seafood, along with wine, craft-beer, and chocolate tastings.

Forty stands are planned, including 22 focused on grilling and 18 devoted to drinks and other experiences.

The program includes 18 experiences across the two days, including grill classes, masterclasses, and tastings.

There will also be DJs, local bands, visiting performers, and a live appearance by Daniel Gutiérrez of La Gusana Ciega.

A Boost for the Community

Mayor Blanca Merari Tziu Muñoz said the festival supports cultural exchange and the local economy.

An artisan corridor will give Puerto Morelos entrepreneurs and makers a place to share and sell their work.

Municipal authorities say they will coordinate traffic, civil protection, and fire services for the event.

For the second consecutive year, a portion of ticket sales will be donated to DIF Quintana Roo, the state family-services agency.
