Caribe Ritmo Fest Brings International Dance Celebration
to Puerto Morelos

A Three-Day Celebration of Dance and Music

 

Puerto Morelos is hosting the Caribe Ritmo Fest from Friday, October 3 through Sunday, October 5, 2025.

 

This high-energy festival will bring together dancers, instructors, and music lovers from across Mexico and beyond. Events will take place at three popular venues: La Sirena Roof, Ventana al Mar, and the Centro Cultural.

 

Attendees can look forward to live shows, social dance nights, workshops for all levels, and special tours to local cenotes.

 

Who's on Stage

 

Festival organizers have confirmed a lineup of international and national talent, including Pamela Pérez, Yan López, Ale Méndez, Rodrigo de Cabrera, and Ale Quintanilla, along with the beats of DJ Lamar.

 

Additional guest instructors include Camila Silva, Renzo, Magui, and Nathalia Coscia.

 

The Weekend Schedule

 

• Friday, Oct 3 – Registration, a social dance class, and evening shows at La Sirena Roof starting at 8:00 p.m.
  
  
• Saturday, Oct 4 – Morning registration followed by a cenote excursion. In the afternoon, Salsa and Bachata workshops lead into kids' and adult dance competitions, and close with a social party and stage shows.
  
  
• Sunday, Oct 5 – Registration and another guided tour of nearby cenotes, offering a unique mix of culture and nature.

Festival passes are flexible, with options for individual events or full experiences:

 

• Friday Social (class + dancing): 199 pesos
• Saturday Social VIP: 199 pesos
• Saturday Workshops: 359 pesos
• Saturday Workshops + Social: 399 pesos
• Snorkel excursion: 449 pesos
• Cenote tour with transport and lunch: 749 pesos

Dance Competition Highlights

 

A key feature of Caribe Ritmo Fest is the Salsa and Bachata couples dance competition, open to both mixed- and same-gender pairs. Registration costs 300 pesos per person, per style, and at least one event package must also be purchased.

 

Prizes include:

 

• 1st Place: Trophy, 6,000 pesos, and two passes for 2026
• 2nd Place: Medals, 3,000 pesos, and one pass for 2026
• 3rd Place: Medals

 

Couples will be judged on connection, technique, musicality, creativity, style, and stage presence.
