Cancún Piano Festival 2026: A Cultural Gem Just 30 Minutes from Puerto Morelos

The fourth edition of the Cancún Piano Festival will bring classical music to our region from February 5-8, 2026. 

 

This four-day celebration showcases one of music's most versatile instruments while creating dialogue between performers, teachers, and students.

 

Festival Highlights

 

The event kicks off Thursday, February 5 with "Night of Masters," featuring distinguished performers alongside the Orquesta Clásica de Cancún at the City Theater in Cancún, including a recognition for maestra Marcela Battaglia.

 

On Friday, February 6, the festival includes educational activities as part of its Mozart homage, with confirmed participants such as Uruguayan pianist Miguel Lecueder.

 

Learning Opportunities

 

Saturday includes a master class featuring Dr. Isabel Ladrón de Guevara among the festival's educators.

 

The festival concludes Sunday with 'Our Young Talents' at the Teatro de la Ciudad, showcasing young pianists from local academias (general admission $250 MXN).
